View Article  Walking in the area

There are walks direct from Leathlobhair.  To the north you can explore Killiegowan wood or Bog Hall Wood is directly behind the cottage.

Rutherford momument is easy to find, the cup and ring "sculptured rock" is less easy to find (GR588560).  There are walks aplenty further afield or simply explore the military road  to the north-west from Anwoth.

If you prefer the salty see then checkout Mossyard and Carrick shore.

Information about further walks can be found on the to do page of our main web-site.  Please feel free to add comments regarding your own walking suggestion.
